Matter of conducting periodic test for students of standard 3 to 8 in the month of September.
Subject: Regarding the planning of periodical test for students of Std. 6 to 8 in the month of September.
Periodic assessment tests on environment and mathematics in Std. 3 to 5 in every medium and science subjects in Std. 6 to 8 were conducted in the medium of primary schools in the month of August for the purpose of assessment along with home learning during Covid 19.
You are requested to take further action from your level in view of the following matters regarding the routine test to be taken in September-2021.
Std 3 To 8 Ekam Kasoti September 2021
- Environment and Gujarati in Std. 3 and 4, Hindi and Gujarati in Std. 5 and Gujarati, Mathematics and Hindi in Std. 6 to 8 will be conducted in September.
- The above periodic assessment tests will be conducted from 20/09/2021 to 22/09/2021.
- By 19/09/2021, the test should reach the students of standard 3 to 5 in hardcopy or softcopy.
- The standard 6 to 8 tests will be taken on the day students come to school during the above date. Students who do not come to school at all will have to pass the tests at home.
- All media tests will also be made available on GCERT website (ww.gcert.gujarat.gov.in) on 20/09/2021.
- Apart from this Gujarati medium tests which can also be obtained from the QR Code on the textbook index of that subject. The standard 3 to 5 tests are expected to be written by the student from home under the supervision of the parent at the convenience of the parent and the student.
- It is desirable that students take the test in a fear-free and stress-free environment as the purpose of the test is to know the student’s progress.
- It is desirable that the test answer books of the students of Std. 3 to 8 who do not come to the school should be delivered to the school through the guardian by 01/10/2021. Tests will be prepared keeping in view the learning outcome.
The syllabus of the test is as follows.
Note: First language will be tested instead of Gujarati in other medium and second language Gujarati will be tested instead of Hindi in Hindi medium.
