According to the above topic, the GCERT organizes the activities of Balmela in two sections every year to impart various life skills to the students. Out of which a children’s fair is organized for the students of standard 1 to 5 as well as a life skills based children’s fair is organized for the students of standard 6 to 8. Through the activities of this children’s fair, various activities like children’s storytelling, pottery, coloring, handicraft work, drawing, paper work, weaving, children’s story based drama are tried to unleash the strengths in the students through games. The activities undertaken during the summer festival jointly organized by GIET, Ahmedabad and GCERT and the activities outlined in the module of admission have to be arranged separately for the children and the activities have to be done according to the children’s fair and lifestyle. 2. MAIN OBJECTIVES OF LIFE SKILL FAIR

 Students can acquire various skills to overcome the challenges of daily life in a positive way and to fulfill the needs of daily life skillfully. Learning to live a healthy, successful, happy and peaceful life by honing the physical and mental abilities of the students through life skills and holistic development of their personality. 0 Various activities will connect students with real life and prepare them to live a better and better life. 0 Self-reliance by solving small and big issues in one’s daily life. As the relationship between the school and the society develops further, it will be necessary to organize child fairs and life skill fairs keeping in view the following instructions. 1. In the year 2022-2023, Government Primary Schools of Gujarat State, Schools run by Nagar Primary Education Committee, Ashram School, KGBV. , First day in model school std. Children’s fair for children from 1 to 5 and on the next day std. Life Skill Fair for children from 6 to 8 should be organized by 15-07-2022. 2.
